Sonam Kapoor: Lovely in Lace at 'Mausam' Music Success Bash

September 09, 2011, (Sawf News) - Sonam Kapoor ravished in a sheer white Stella McCartney sequined lace dress at the music success party of her new film Mausam at Hotel JW Marriott, Mumbai on Thursday, September 8, 2011.
Sonam's knee length, sleeveless dress was made from beautiful traditional white lace, with a contemporary cut, creating a dainty bridal effect. The dress had a defined waist, deep V neckline and a delicate scalloped trim.

She topped the dress with a matching long sleeve bolero jacket which gave her a more festive look.
Interestingly Katrina Kaif wore the same dress sans the jacket at Abu Dhabi premiere of her film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan on September 7.
Sonam accessorized with nude peep toe kitten heels from Jimmy Choo, and a ring each on the index fingers of her hands.
Her side swept waist length hair was styled in voluminous loose waves, draping her right shoulder. Berry pink lipstick, thick eyeliner and pearl eyeshadow was perfect for celebrating the evening.
She was dolled up for the evening by stylist Tanya Ghavri and makeup artist and hairstylist Namrata Soni, both her favorites.

Sonam attended the event by with co-star Shahid Kapoor, who was dressed in chocolate buttoned down shirt and Grey pants.
Shahid has reverted to his signature luxuriant mane, having sported a short crop for his IAF fighter pilot role in Mausam.
The event was originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 7 evening, but was rescheduled due to the Delhi blasts.
Others attending the event included Shahid's dad Pankaj Kapoor, who is also the film's director; Sonam's dad Anil Kapoor, the film's music director Pritam, and new singing sensation Shahid Mallya who performed Mausam songs.
